Meet the Practitioner.
and my journey in holistic healthcare has been a lifelong calling—one that began early in life with a deep trust in nature and the body’s innate ability to heal. Over the years, this belief has been shaped and strengthened through study, clinical practice, and meaningful human connection. I hold a Double Degree in The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Sciences and Bachelor of Chinese Medicine, which laid a strong foundation for the path as a TCM practitioner.
My name is Jiayi,
For over 13 years, I served as a Senior Physician at Eu Yan Sang, where I had the privilege of working with a wide range of patients across all walks of life. Those years were incredibly formative, allowing me to hone my clinical skills while forming meaningful and lasting connections. I feel immense gratitude for the opportunity to connect and support others in regaining their health through natural, time-honoured methods.
Among the many tools within Chinese Medicine, acupuncture has always held a special place in my heart. I am continuously in awe of how a few precisely placed needles can bring deep healing—helps to restore balance on the physical, mental and emotional levels. It was this deep respect that led me to discover Five-Element Acupuncture, a system of medicine that immediately resonated with me on a profound level. Its philosophy aligns so closely with my own that I have chosen to devote my practice fully to it.
Rooted in classical Chinese Philosophy and brought into modern practice by J.R. Worsely, Five-Element Acupuncture honours each person’s unique constitution. It sees symptoms as signals of imbalance in their elemental nature, and restores health by nourishing the element, allowing the whole system to return to its natural rhythm.
Now, in this new chapter of my practice, I have made the conscious choice to offer one-on-one sessions. This allows me to hold a safe and nurturing space, and to be fully present with each person I work with. My intention is to provide treatment that is not only effective, but also heartfelt—supporting you in returning to a state of authentic and integrated health.
Whether you are seeking relief from physical symptoms, emotional overwhelm, or simply a greater sense of alignment, it would be my honour to walk alongside you.
not just symptoms,
making Five-Element Acupuncture both deeply personal and transformative.
Treating the whole person
In addition to my TCM training, I am also a certified Usui Reiki Teacher. My work as a practitioner and teacher continues to inform the way I create and hold space for my patients—to heal, gain insights and connect with their authentic self.
